Al-Cor, a cohousing inside vibio.land
Community within the Community
Al-Cor is an open group for families in all stages of life who wish to share the same purpose.
Living with Purpose
We share a common vocation to build a space of coexistence that integrates individual and collective development.
With participation and transparency
Al-cor is a place where coexistence is organized without impositions, but with consensus and consent among all.
Cohousing
In an ecological building, with 20 housing units in right of use with approximately 60 m2 and 600 m2 of common spaces within an environment integrated with nature, vibio.land.
An ecological and sustainable community
We do not only live among neighbors and in a social environment, but also with the natural environment and the entire animal and plant species that inhabit the territory.
We are in a climate emergency caused by the way we produce and consume. We want our community to be part of the solution, , with a lifestyle of minimum environmental impact tthrough efficiency, self-consumption of energy, efficient water management and the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste.
The importance of living with purpose
We believe in a conscious society that cares for the life of each of its members, as well as the earth and nature that sustains us.
Individual and/or collective purpose provides us with motivation and meaning for our life path and makes us part of a freer, happier and more equitable society.
The shared vocation for a life from the essence provides the motivation and meaning of this initiative.
Governance: participation and transparency
We organize coexistence under the principles of participation, agility, control and transparency, in accordance with the model of sociocracy - which means "government of the partners." It is a democratic and participatory system of governance which defines partners as people linked by significant relationships. Sociocracy builds a place where there are no impositions, but consensus and consent among all.
We were established as housing cooperative with right of use, a model halfway between buying and renting that allows you to enjoy a home for an indefinite period and participate in decision-making, but without actually acquiring it as property, thus avoiding contributing to speculation in the housing market.
